GEN-PRO was awarded this project after receiving the highest ranked evaluation upon submitting a Request for Proposal (RFP) package to Humber College.

Work included interior demolition and asbestos abatement of an existing 2 floor, 20,000 sq. ft. building to accommodate Humber College's new hub for the Department of Education Training & Solutions.

The 1st floor space was fit-up to include a new reception area, multiple offices, 4 open working areas, a kitchen, 2 meeting rooms, change rooms complete with lockers, and a state-of-the-art testing center complete with 5 testing rooms.

The 2nd Floor was renovated to include 6 teaching classrooms, multiple open working areas and forums for the students to study, upgraded washroom facilities and 3 additional offices for staff.

Structural upgrades were required to accommodate the new elevator and elevator penthouse that was installed at the entrance of the 1st floor.

Exterior building improvements included masonry repointing, restoration of lintels, repainting of the stucco, new metal soffits and new metal siding on the new elevator penthouse.
